Oval Faces And Hairstyles

By Dennis E. Price

Did you know that men are asking to speak to hairdressers about styles as well as women now. They now realise the importance of styling their hair for oval shaped faces as much as women do. When looking for oval faced styles there are plenty of different ways to achieve this by researching this yourself of by asking your hairdresser.

Selecting a hairstyle should reflect who you are as a person. There are different ways to choose when using a booklet. Depending on your lifestyle you may wish a perfect hairstyle which has an elegant look due to the type of business you are running. Appearance in the workplace can play a key part in the selection process. Fashion conscious women may wish to keep up with the latest trends. The aim is for you to look and feel great whatever style you select.

Bangs or fringes are two names which people ask for when they visit a salon. This is not the type of style you wish to have when your face is oval instead ask for a side parting or side sweeping fringe. This type of bangs will be more appropriate.

Anyone with a narrow oval face would suit a hairstyle similar to Jennifer Aniston old hair style, which was straight and layered. Another option is for you to have your hair curled with lots of layers through it giving the illusion that you face is fuller than it normally is.

A good tip would be to ask your stylist to create a whole new look for you adding lots of style and volume along the way. A good idea would be to use a style which offers lots of layers which will reduce the oval shape of your face.

What about long hair and styles. Try adding a side fringe or bang to your hair cut. Hairdressers love to experiment and you never know you could end up with a style you never thought about before. Your hairdresser will know best and will advice you against anything which does not suit you. Remember you have the option to change your mind on your next visit to the salon.
