Wall Letters And Stickers For Nursery

By Darren Hartley

Because they personalize the space and make it unique, nursery wall letters have become one of the more popular decor additions to nurseries. They are also great for shared rooms, giving each of the little ones a sense of ownership.

Finding the perfect set of nursery wall letters is made possible by the many design options, shapes and styles available on the market. Among the options available are fonts and colors. It is up to the parents to decide whether to use the full name or the initials of the child when doing the wall decor using the name of the baby.

Wooden hanging letters are the most traditional choice for popular nursery wall letters. For a flush mount to the wall, one may choose the letters coming with a saw tooth hanger. For matching any room decor, one may select the letters coming with colourful ribbon options. Framed letters are another cute option for nursery wall letters. They offer a fun twist on the traditional style.

A major consideration in the selection of wall stickers for nursery is the age of the child. While parents have the freedom to decide on themes, colors and quotations when planning a nursery, they have to consult the child on the color scheme and room images if the child is older.

There is no doubt that babies enjoy sharp contrasts and interesting patterns in the wall stickers for nursery. However, since babies also need a not so overly stimulating but restful atmosphere from time to time, it would be better to place the wall stickers on another part of the wall, rather than placing the wall stickers directly next to the crib, where a baby may try to peel them off.

When it comes to wall stickers for nursery, there is a wide variety of color combinations to choose from. Since contrast allows the wall stickers to stand out better, parents prefer some contrast between the wall paint and the wall stickers.
