Stylish Living And Chic Living Rooms

By Darren Hartley

Smart furniture choices are one of the factors in the conceptualization of stylish living rooms. The other is intentional decorating. Smart furniture choices include love seats, settees and small sofas. While providing the necessary impact to a living space, they also offer a multitude of seating choices without occupying the entire area. Unfortunately, they diminish the comfort factor of a living room.

What can give the illusion of stylish living rooms being bigger that they actually are? Why, floor-to-ceiling decor of course. Imagine a bookshelf that goes all the way up from the floor or a salon grouping of artifacts that reaches the ceiling from the ground. Keeping in mind that the smaller the furniture, the more space there is to accommodate other pieces, will make you prefer small nesting tables over bulky coffee tables.

Stylish living rooms go with one piece of large sectional furniture and leave open the rest of the space. They are also lighted with stand up lights. They are filled with acrylic furnishings that add an open, airy and modern aesthetic feel to the area.

More daring and bold are chic living rooms when it comes to the combination of colors and the intermingling of materials. To create a more distinctive style, conventional and popular designs are intermingled together. This style has gained the admiration of men and women combined.

Chic living rooms are made up of a plain coach in combination with throw pillows, drapes or rugs made of colourful fabrics. The less they match, the better. And as if this were not enough, unique vases, old lamps and cool looking paintings or artworks are made to surround the living space to add more spice to it.

With a surrounding of plain walls, chic living rooms ooze with a cluttered atmosphere. They are similar to a girl with almost no make up at all, wearing an intricately fashionable dress and a perfect pair of glass slippers. Just like this Cinderella, chic living rooms will not only amaze you, but leave you awe-struck.
