Your major meals should be at the normal meal times so you can avoid them turning into fat late in the day. Having a meal before bed isn't the best choice, but you can always sneak in a light snack if necessary. As your body burns up calories much more efficiently early in the day, when you eat can be just as important as what and how much.

You can feel defeated even before you start trying to eat healthier. While it may be hard to stay on track, you can try sneaking in a treat once a week while still maintaining your new healthy diet. This way, you'll have something to look forward to, and the harm it does to you will be minimal, especially if you focus on eating healthier the rest of the time. So think in terms of cutting back on, not giving up the foods you love. To stay healthy, you need to also consider the other factors involved with being a totally healthy person. Other factors you need to consider is how much stress you are under, how much sleep you are getting, and the type of exercise that you do a weekly basis.
