I picked up a female shout, and ran to see. A big guy, probably 6 feet tall, had pinned a brunette down, and she was crying and pleading all at once. I stood stunned, paralyzed by fright and the feeling I was certainly powerless to do anything. I did not realize I had let out a blood-curdling yell.
Another person then ran from behind me, and fired something with an intense blinking light. The big guy was down and howling now. Was this due to pain? He staggered back, brushing his face, and slumped to the ground, coughing. Eventually, I learned that was a Mace pepper spray gun with flashing strobe that had dropped the attacker.
It was incredible that the female's lifesaver had been perhaps about 18 feet far from her. He had repelled the attacker capably by using his non-lethal tool that worked continuously just like an aerosol spray. The effects were just temporary. Apparently, the burning sensation to the eyes and skin and respiratory constriction will go away soon. The target will not suffer any permanent damage.
This was not simply ordinary pepper spray that Gary had used. It had looked like a pistol to me, and it was one at least in shape and size. Pepper guns, he pointed out, allow you to fire and also hit the target coming from a safe distance, even farther in comparison to most pepper sprays can.
He explained these work even inverted, and the aerosol effect permits precise targeting, just like you were shooting a real gun. Besides, this looks far more convenient to pull a trigger than push a switch.
The Mace pepper gun spray with strobe LED helps distract the target right before you shoot. Its dual mode LED serve as a powerful light whenever steady, while even more disorienting your target if blinking.
Gary could have been 20 feet far from the thug, and he would continue to have knocked him down with his black pepper spray gun. Thankfully, the man had been struck while standing, and the victim had protected her face to make sure that she had not been affected.
She was very happy to have been rescued by Gary as well as his Mace pepper gun with flashing strobe.
