How Hidden Monitoring Aids Solve A Crime

By Mikeal A Grene

One of our neighbors got robbed last month. Seemingly, she did not count on keeping her funds inside the bank, and had always kept her money in her residence instead. Her life savings and jewelry were taken. The robber probably have even gotten wind of this as to aim for her.

Since security cameras are utilized generally to monitor a certain location or catch a wrongdoer in the act, the police group handling the incident talked to us neighbors if we had hidden spy cameras with audio set up in our own houses. They would like to know if there was any chance our personal surveillance video cameras could have filmed the robbers in action.

I did not have an outdoor spy camera to help with, yet I have a mirror covert cam positioned inside my room. I have one in natural wood texture frame, though it is also offered in a black frame.

I obtained this particular nanny cam with an optional built-in DVR so I would not need to install anything. The DVR cam was ready to record right after I brought it out of its package.

I opted for a cordless cam so transferring it would be convenient. I would not need to struggle over working with cords and cables, either. It being cordless, and thus very easy to move around, is probably the very reason this wound up facing the street the night my neighbor got robbed. I must have twirled that mistakenly from that time.

It must be fortuity that the minute I checked the video footage my covert video camera had recorded on that evening, the video showed the 3 burglars who had victimized my neighbor. It had been dark; however the.003 lux feature of my black and white video camera made it attainable to videotape decent images in lowlight.

Should the cops had not talked to us about possessing hidden spy cameras, this particular robbery incident would still be far from being solved.
